- Step 1: Open File Explorer by pressing the Windows and E buttons together on your keyboard.
- Step 2: Go to the Local Disk (C) and select Users.
- Step 3: Now, choose your user and navigate to App Data.
- Step 4: Select the Local folder and click the Microsoft option.
- Step 5: Locate the Windows Live Mail folder and right-click on the folder to select the Copy option.
- Step 6: Paste the folder on your desktop and delete the Windows Live Mail folder from Local Disk to copy Windows live mail to a new computer.
- Step 7: If you open your Windows Live Mail application, you can’t find any data in it.
- Step 8: To transfer your contacts, you must export and import them.
- Step 9: Open Windows Live Mail and click Contacts.
- Step 10: Select Export and choose the (.CSV) option.
- Step 11: To import them, select Contacts and click Import. Then, click the (.CSV) option.
- Step 12: Now, you can copy the Windows Live Mail folder to a USB drive.
- Step 13: Plug in the USB drive to your new computer.
- Step 14: Open Local Disk (C) and go to Users.
- Step 15: Open the Local folder and select Microsoft.
- Step 16: Navigate to the App Data section. Then, delete the existing Windows Live Mail folder.
- Step 17: Copy the Windows Live Mail folder from the USB drive and paste it to the App Data section.
- Step 18: Now, launch your Windows Live mail application on the new computer.
- Step 19: You can find all your data in the Windows Live Mail account after perform copy Windows live mail to a new computer.
