Em Client Mark As Not Junk - Quick Steps

In eM Client, the messages that are detected as spam will be sent to the Junk folder. If you have created a rule for Blacklist or Spam list in the eM Client app, the emails that meet the conditions will be automatically moved to the specified folder (Junk). In case you want to mark a mail as not junk, you need to manage your Blacklist rule. If your emails are moved automatically to the Junk folder even though you haven’t created any rules in eM Client, check whether you have configured any spam filter on your email server. In such cases, you cannot do anything in eM Client mark as not junk. Carry out these steps to fix this problem on your email server.

For Gmail/Yahoo users:

  • Step 1:First, log in to your Gmail/Yahoo Mail account and then click on Spam from the left-side panel.
  • Step 2:Locate the email message you wish to mark as not junk and open it.
  • Step 3:Click the Not Spam button at the top of the page to move your email to the inbox.
  • Step 4:Now, the email message will not be available in the Spam folder.
  • Step 5:Log out from your Gmail or Yahoo Mail account and launch the eM Client app.
  • Step 6:Click the Junk Email folder below Smart Folders and check if your email message has been removed from the list.

Steps to manage the Blacklist rule in eM Client:

  • Step 1:Launch the eM Client app first.
  • Step 2:Navigate to the top-left corner and click the Menu button.
  • Step 3:Select the Tools option followed by Rules from the drop-down list.
  • Step 4:In the Rules window, select the Blacklist option and click the Modify rule button.
  • Step 5:Remove any email addresses and domains you wish to mark as not junk in the Rules list.
  • Step 6:If necessary, you can also disable the rule.
  • Step 7:Save the changes and restart your eM Client app to fix eM Client mark as not junk.
