Most of the people use Google services in their day-to-day life. One among the Google services is Gmail. Many prefer this email platform to send and receive emails. It provides a certain amount of storage space to every user. Whenever the storage is full, users do not receive any mail from the sender. Due to inadequate space, the mail gets bounced back. So, the users need to clean up their storage space. Once the user gets enough storage, everything will be back to normal. But any mail sent during the time your account’s storage is full will not be received; they bounce back to the sender of that mail. Therefore, the sender must send the mail again. Moreover, it may take 24 - 48 hours to reflect all the changes on your account.

If the problem persists, you can follow a few troubleshooting steps.

  • Step 1:Check whether the Gmail service is down.
  • Step 2:Check if your internet connection is strong. Gmail may not send or receive emails if the connection is slow or weak.
  • Step 3:Try disabling the Firewall. Many antivirus software have the Firewall feature enabled, which could block emails. Either disable the Firewall or the antivirus software.
  • Step 4:Try using Gmail through a different browser. Many users find it effective. Or, you can also try it from your smartphone.
  • Step 5:Log out of your Gmail account and log in again. It can help you by syncing your Gmail to Google’s servers.
