Gmail SMTP Not Working Outlook - [FIXED]

If you have not configured your Gmail account in Outlook properly, Gmail SMTP may not work in Outlook. If the SMTP is not working, you may not be able to send emails from your Outlook application.   • Step 1:Verify the email settings on your account.
  • Step 2:Launch the Outlook app and click the Accounts tab.
  • Step 3:Click on the Tools menu and select your email account from the displayed list.
  • Step 4:Click the Properties option and select the General tab.
  • Step 5:Ensure that you have entered an email address that is valid.
  • Step 6:Click the Servers tab and verify your account name.
  • Step 7:Uncheck the Log on using Secure Password Authentication box. Select the box, unless it is specified otherwise by your email provider.
  • Step 8:Checkmark the My Server requires authentication box.
  • Step 9:In case authentication is required by your email service provider, click on the Settings option.
  • Step 10:When the Logon Info screen appears, choose your email provider.
  • Step 11:Select either Use same settings as my incoming mail server or Log on using option.
  • Step 12:Now, enter the name and password of your account.
  • Step 13:If you find any messages in the Outbox folder, delete it.
  • Step 14:Now, send your email message again and verify whether the issue is resolved.
  • Step 15:If the issue persists, remove and readd your account.
  • Step 16:When you readd your account and reconfigure it, the issue will be fixed.
