GMX Mail IMAP Settings - Quick Steps

Step 1: Server name: imap.gmx.com
Step 2: Incoming Port number: 993
Step 3: Encryption: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

Step 1: Server name: mail.gmx.com
Step 2: Outgoing Port number: 587
Step 3: Encryption: STARTTLS, TLS or Encryption

Step 1:Log in to your GMX account from a browser.

Step 2:Click the following options: E-mail > Settings > POP3 & IMAP > Send and receive emails via external programs.

Step 3:Open Outlook 2016.

Step 4:Click the File menu.

Step 5:Click the Info tab and select the Account Settings option.

Step 6:Click the Add Account option and then select Account Settings.

Step 7:Enter your GMX email address and click the checkbox beside Let me set up my account manually. Now, select Connect.

Step 8:You can choose IMAP for the Incoming Mail server.

Step 9:The Account Settings page will open, and below are the settings

GMX.COM IMAP Settings

Step 1: Server name: imap.gmx.com
Step 2: Outgoing Port Number: 993.
Step 3: Enable the checkbox for the option This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).

GMX.COM SMTP Settings

Step 1: Server name: mail.gmx.com
Step 2: Secure Roaming Port number: 587, Security Type: SSL/TLS
Step 3: Click the Connect button.
Step 4: You have to enter your GMX mail password and then click the OK button.
