How Do I Reset My Aol Mail Settings

AOL Mail is a free web-based email service provider that you can use over the Internet using standard web browsers. This mail service offers many advanced features like panels, which are quick links to other online services. The users can import all their contacts and old emails from different email applications and reset the AOL mail settings. Now, just follow the instructions given below if you want to reset your AOL mail settings.

RESET AOL MAIL SETTINGS:

Step 1:Select the Start menu from the main screen and open the AOL Mail application on your computer.

Step 2:If you don’t have the AOL application on your computer, use the web browser and log in to your AOL mail account.

Step 3:Now, select the Options menu below your AOL account’s username in the upper-right corner of the page.

Step 4:Choose the Mail Settings option from the drop-down menu.

Step 5:Follow the below steps to reset the General, Compose, Filter, and Calendar settings.

General Settings:

Step 1:After selecting the Mail Settings option, the AOL mail settings window will appear on the screen.
Step 2:Choose the General category from the left pane of the screen.
Step 3:Below General Settings, you can reset the settings for Today on AOL, Sender Name Display, Reading Mail, New Mail Contacts, and Mail Away Messages.
Step 4:After resetting the general settings, click on the Save Settings button.

Compose Settings:

Step 1:Now, select the Compose category from the left pane of the page.
Step 2:Under the Compose Settings, you can reset Default Compose Mode, Cc/Bcc, Rich Text/Html, Display Name, and Sending options.
Step 3:After resetting the compose settings, select the Save Settings button to save the changes.

Filter Settings:

Step 1:Select the Filter Settings category from the left pane of the settings window.
Step 2:Below the Filter Settings, you can create a new filter.
Step 3:Once you have created a new filter, you can edit or delete it from the filter settings window.

Calendar Settings:

Step 1:Now, choose the Calendar category from the left panel of the screen.
Step 2:Under the Calendar Settings, you can reset the Default View for the day, week, or month, Time zone, and Display.
Step 3:After resetting the calendar settings, click on the Save Settings button to finalize the changes.
