How To Setup Suddenlink Email On Android

Suddenlink is one of the well-known mail services. It helps in using your email account for both personal and business purposes. Suddenlink provides IMAP access to your suddenlink.net account, which helps you connect to your emails from any device that has a strong Internet connection. You can send and receive emails and can access them from whenever and wherever you need. Let us see the steps to set up Suddenlink email on your Android device.

Steps to set up Suddenlink email on Android

  • Step 1: Open Gmail on your Android device.
  • Step 2: Choose the Settings option.
  • Step 3: Tap Add account.
  • Step 4: Make sure that you select the Other option from the list and tap Add Mail Account.
  • Step 5: On the following screen, provide your name in the Name field.
  • Step 6: Type your Suddenlink email and password in the Email address and Password fields.
  • Step 7: Provide the description you desire in the Description field and tap Next.
  • Step 8: On the following screen, choose IMAP and enter your name in the Name field.
  • Step 9: Type your email address and description in the respective fields.
  • Step 10: Once you have done that, just move on to the Incoming Mail Server section.
  • Step 11: Provide imap.suddenlink.com in the Host Name field.
  • Step 12: Make sure that you type your email address and password in the respective fields.
  • Step 13: Type 993 in the Port field.
  • Step 14: Once provided, move on to the Outgoing Mail Server section.
  • Step 15: Under the Outgoing Mail Server field, type smtp.suddenlink.com in the Host Name field.
  • Step 16: Provide your Suddenlink email address and password in the Username and Password fields, respectively.
  • Step 17: Make sure that you provide 25 in the Port field.
  • Step 18: Tap Next.
  • Step 19: Make sure that the Mail toggle is turned on and tap Save.
  • Step 20: Ensure that your account is listed on the Accounts screen.
  • Step 21: Select your account.
  • Step 22: Choose the Advanced option at the bottom of the screen.
  • Step 23: On the following screen, under Mailbox behaviors, choose the Drafts Mailbox option.
  • Step 24: On the next screen, under On the Server, check whether the Drafts option is selected.
  • Step 25: Go back to the preceding screen and select Sent Mailbox.
  • Step 26: Under On the Server, check whether the Sent option is selected.
  • Step 27: Again, get back to the previous screen and choose the Deleted Mailbox option.
  • Step 28: On the following screen, make sure that the Trash option is selected.
  • Step 29: After entering the above details, get back to the previous screen and tap Done.
