This IMAP error appears when you try to send or receive emails. To resolve this error, try the following measures;

  • Step 1:The server may not be able to connect to the internet. So check the internet connection on your device.
  • Step 2:If the Wi-Fi network is not strong, move your device to the place where you can receive good internet access.
  • Step 3:The antivirus software installed on your computer may prevent the mails from being sent or received. So, try disabling the antivirus software on your device and check if you are able to send/receive the mail.
  • Step 4:See if the server settings are correct in your client application.
  • Step 6:Turn off the firewall settings, and try to connect to the server.
