Mac Mail Attachments Problem

  • Step 1: On macOS, you can see a file called resource fork that stores file information like type, metadata, icon, and more.
  • Step 2: But, in other operating systems, you can’t find this file. So, when you try to mail this file to any other email client, it is delivered as extra unreadable files.
  • Step 3: To avoid this situation, enable the Always Send Windows-Friendly attachments option.
  • Step 4: To do so, click Edit > Attachments. Select the Always Send Windows-Friendly attachments option to avoid such Mac mail attachments problem.
