Mac Mail Signature Formatting Problem - [SOLVED]

Like any other email client, the Mac Mail provides you with the feature to add customized email signatures to your email messages. Sometimes, when your recipient gets your email, the signature that you have inserted would appear to be double the size of the original one (that you sent). The text within your email will display with the normal size. However, the signature size would be twice the original one. If this is your problematic situation right now, the following method that has worked fine for many users will help you fix the Mac mail signature formatting problem issue as well.

  • Step 1: First, access a computer that has Microsoft Outlook.
  • Step 2: Next, create a signature in Outlook. Confirm that the font and the font size are the same as the ones that you have set in Mac Mail (as defaults).
  • Step 3: Now, save your Mac mail signature and then send an email with the signature from Outlook to your email account configured in Mac Mail.
  • Step 4: When you receive the email in your Mac Mail Inbox, select and then copy the signature in it.
  • Step 5: You now have to create another new signature. Paste the signature that you have sent to yourself from Outlook.
  • Step 6: Ensure that the checkbox next to the Use the same message format as the original message option is NOT selected.
  • Step 7: Now, send an email containing this signature. Open it on any of the email clients.
  • Step 8: Now, you will find that your signature is of the same size as your text. The size of the signature you see now will also be the same as that of the original one.

You have now solved the Mac mail signature formatting problem using a few simple steps.
