Solution 1: Delete corrupted files & folders in the Mailbird folder
- Step 1:On your Windows computer, open the File Explorer and go to the ‘C:\Users(UserName)\AppData\Local\Mailbird\’ file path (replace UserName with your Windows user’s name).
- Step 2:Locate the Misc folder in the displayed list and back it up before deleting.
- Step 3:Once you have removed the Misc folder from your computer, restart the Mailbird app.
- Step 4:If Mailbird is still not opening, proceed with the next solution.
Solution 2: Install Windows Updates
- Step 1:On your Windows computer, click the Start button available at the bottom-left corner of the desktop.
- Step 2:Select the Settings icon from the left-side panel to launch the Windows Settings.
- Step 3:Alternatively, open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I.
- Step 4:Select the Update & security tab in the Settings window and click the Check for updates button below Update status.
- Step 5:Install the available updates and launch the Mailbird app.
- Step 6:If your Mailbird is not opening, move on to the next solution.
Solution 3: Reinstall the Mailbird app
- Step 1:First, launch the Control Panel and click on the Uninstall a program link below Programs.
- Step 2:Select the Mailbird app from the displayed list and click the Uninstall button at the top of the page.
- Step 3:If prompted, click Remove or Uninstall again to confirm your action.
- Step 4:Alternatively, you can remove the Mailbird app using the Run command.
- Step 5:Launch the Run dialog box by pressing Windows + R.
- Step 6:Type ‘msiexec.exe /x {4E757DEB-ED12-4A25-AA23-DEBF91B6C4CF}’ in the Run dialog box and hit Enter to remove the Mailbird app from your computer.
- Step 7:Make sure to remove the Mailbird related files from the Registry Editor.
- Step 8:Next, restart your computer and download the Mailbird installer file from the official Mailbird site.
- Step 9:Run the downloaded file and carry out the on-screen prompts to install the Mailbird app on your computer.
- Step 10:After the installation, launch the app.
