POP3 Rediffmail Settings:

Follow these steps to set up Rediffmail on Android.

  • Step 1:On your Android device, open the Gmail or Email app (default in Android mobile).
  • Step 2:Go to Menu and tap Settings followed by Add Account.
  • Step 3:On the Setup Email screen, tap on the Other option.
  • Step 4:Add your Rediffmail account and tap Next.
  • Step 5:Here, select the option Personal (POP3).
  • Step 6:Enter your password and tap Next.
  • Step 7:In the Incoming server settings section, change the server name to pop.rediffmail.com and tap Next.
  • Step 8:In the Outgoing server settings section, change the server name to smtp.rediffmail.com and tap Next.
  • Step 9:On the Account options screen, enter your name and tap Next.
  • Step 10:Go to the account and change the required settings.
  • Step 11:Now, the POP3 Rediffmail account has been set up on your Android device.

IMAP Rediffmail Settings:

  • Step 1:On your Android device, open the Gmail or Email app (default in Android mobile).
  • Step 2:Go to Menu > Settings > Add Account.
  • Step 3:Tap the Other option.
  • Step 4:Add your Rediffmail account and tap Next.
  • Step 5:Here, select the option Personal (IMAP).
  • Step 6:Enter your password, then tap Next.
  • Step 7:On the Incoming server settings screen, set the server name as imap.rediffmail.com and select 143 as the port.
  • Step 8:Select the Security type as OFF and tap Next.
  • Step 9:For the Outgoing server settings, change the server name to smtp.rediffmail.com and select 587 as the port.
  • Step 10:Now, choose the Security type as OFF and enable the SMTP authentication.
  • Step 11:Enter your name and tap Next.
  • Step 12:Go to the account and change the settings required.
  • Step 13:Now, the IMAP Rediffmail account has been set up.
