Step 6:Authentication required: Yes, email address and email password.

Steps To Setup Proton Mail In Outlook 2016:

Step 1:Open Outlook 2016.
Step 2:Click the File tab followed by the Add Account button.
Step 3:In the welcome screen, enter the ProtonMail email address.
Step 4:Click Advanced options and enable the Let me set up my account manually checkbox.
Step 5:Select the IMAP option in the next window.
Step 6:On the next screen, you have to enter the incoming server and outgoing server details of your ProtonMail account.
Step 7:Click the Connect button.
Step 8:Now, you will be prompted to enter the password. Make sure you enter the password that was generated in the ProtonMail Bridge app while you added your email account to it.
