If the emails keep flooding, and you are unable to delete them in Outlook, follow these simple steps to delete the emails.
- Step 1:Open Outlook 2016 and go to the File menu.
- Step 2:In the Account Information window, click the Account Settings icon.
- Step 3:Select your account in which you cannot delete the emails and click More Settings.
- Step 4:In the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the Advanced tab.
- Step 5:Check the content boxes in the Deleted Items section. Then, click OK.
- Step 6:Now, go back to your account inbox and delete the unwanted emails.
- Step 7:If the issue persists, relaunch Outlook 2016 to empty the items in the deleted items mail folder.
- Step 8:If the above method fails, open Outlook in Safe Mode by opening the Run window. Now, type outlook.exe/safe and delete those emails.
