- Step 1: Navigate to the Windows search bar, then enter control panel and select the same from the search
- Step 2: Navigate to the Search barin Control Panel, type mail , and then press the Enter key on the keyboard.
- Step 3: Choose the Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016)
- Step 4: In the Mail Setup - Outlook window, navigate to the Email Accounts section and click the Email Accounts
- Step 5: This will open the Account Settings
- Step 6: In the Email tab, select your Zoho Mail account and click the Change
- Step 7: Enter the following correct server details.
- Step 8: Incoming mail server - imap.zoho.in (IMAP) or pop.zoho.in (POP)
- Step 9: Outgoing mail server (SMTP) - smtp.zoho.in
- Step 10: In the Password field, enter your Zoho Mail password.
- Step 11: To check your port settings and resolve the Zoho Mail not sending problem, click theMore Settings button on the Change Account
- Step 12: In the Internet E-mail Settings window, click the Outgoing Server
- Step 13: Check if the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox is selected. If not, select it.
- Step 15: To ensure the port numbers, click the Advanced
- Step 16: Here are the correct port settings for your reference.
- Step 17: Incoming server - 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP)
- Step 18: Choose SSL/TLS from the Use the following type of encrypted connection
- Step 19: Outgoing server - 587
- Step 20: Click the Use the following type of encrypted connection drop-down menu and choose STARTTLS .
- Step 21: Save the altered settings by clicking the OK
- Step 22: Continue with the following steps and then check if the Zoho Mail not sending problem has been resolved.
- Step 23: Return to the previous screen.
- Step 24: Click the Test Account Settings
- Step 25: If the account settings are correct, you will see the Congratulations! All tests completed successfully
- Step 26: Also, navigate to the Tasks tab and check if you see the green tick marks.
- Step 27: This ensures that your Zoho Mail account has been configured correctly in the Outlook 2016 email client.
- Step 28: Now, click the Close button in the Test Account Settings
- Step 29: Once done, click Next on the Change Account
- Step 30: Close the Change Account screen by clicking the Finish button.
- Step 31: Relaunch the Outlook 2016 email client and try sending an email message from your Zoho Mail account.
